Installing SoundScreen R2 acoustic insulation can reduce noise transfer by up to 70%, creating a quieter and more serene living space.
There are two main reasons why customers often choose R2 high-density acoustic insulation:
1. The building specification requires an R-Value of 2.0, but the wall cavity is limited to 70–75mm in depth (as standard R2 insulation is typically 90mm thick).
2. The customer wants to minimize noise transfer—either from the outside into the home, or between rooms within the home—to enhance overall acoustic comfort.

OG Insulation Insulation Returns Policy
You may return unused insulation to OG Insulation, provided the following conditions are met:
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- Products must be in original packaging and in resalable condition. We do not accept returns on wet or damaged items.
- A restocking fee of 15% applies to glasswool, polyester, and rockwool insulation.
- Foam and rigid insulation products will incur a 30% restocking fee.
Important note:
- Custom-made items are not eligible for return or refund.
- Some suppliers restrict returns in specific states—check the product page for details.
