Bradford Polymax thermal insulation is engineered to enhance indoor comfort and reduce energy costs. It effectively minimises heat transfer through the walls, ceilings, and floors of both residential and commercial buildings. In homes without insulation, up to 25% of heat can escape through the walls during winter. In summer, external heat can enter easily, leading to uncomfortably high indoor temperatures. Polymax vs Glasswool Insulation
Polymax is crafted entirely from 100% polyester, setting it apart from other Bradford products like Gold Batts, Optimo Underfloor, and Soundscreen, which are made from fibreglass. One major difference between polyester and glasswool insulation is that polyester contains no breathable fibres, making it soft to the touch and easier to handle. While glasswool is typically cut with a knife, polyester insulation can usually be torn to the required size. Due to its hypoallergenic properties, polyester is often the preferred choice for those with allergies—though it does come at a higher cost. 100% Reusable Polyester Insulation
Bradford Polymax is made from the same soft polyester material found in pillows and doonas. It’s a low-allergen product that emits no VOCs, making it a healthier choice for indoor environments. Environmentally friendly, Polymax is fully reusable and manufactured using up to 80% recycled polyester sourced from post-consumer PET packaging, such as used drink bottles. The production process is free from chemicals and resin binders, ensuring a cleaner, safer insulation solution.

OG Insulation Insulation Returns Policy
You may return unused insulation to OG Insulation, provided the following conditions are met:
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- Products must be in original packaging and in resalable condition. We do not accept returns on wet or damaged items.
- A restocking fee of 15% applies to glasswool, polyester, and rockwool insulation.
- Foam and rigid insulation products will incur a 30% restocking fee.
Important note:
- Custom-made items are not eligible for return or refund.
- Some suppliers restrict returns in specific states—check the product page for details.
