Pink Soundbreak Insulation is engineered to deliver outstanding acoustic performance in residential settings. Its high-density composition makes it highly effective at reducing noise transmission between rooms and across floors, helping to create quieter, more comfortable living environments.
When installed in external walls and ceiling cavities, Pink Soundbreak batts help block out unwanted external noise. In addition to its soundproofing capabilities, Pink Soundbreak also offers excellent thermal performance—thanks to its nominal density of 24–26kg/m³—which enhances a home’s energy efficiency, leading to potential savings on heating and cooling costs.
Available in thicknesses ranging from 60mm to 110mm, Pink Soundbreak is proudly manufactured in Australia by Fletcher Insulation.

The ideal time to upgrade insulation is during the construction phase of a new home, as it becomes much more difficult once plasterboard is in place. Pink Soundbreak insulation batts are highly recommended for installation in walls and ceilings of home theatres, between bedrooms, and around bathrooms, toilets, and laundries to help reduce noise transfer.
For optimal results, it’s best to choose the highest R-value insulation your budget allows. As a general guide, we recommend a minimum of R2.0 Acoustic Soundbreak between rooms and R2.7 for home theatres. Additionally, placing acoustic batts beneath first-floor bedrooms or play areas can significantly enhance the overall comfort and quietness of your home.

Pink Batts® Insulation is also non-combustible, low in allergens, and produced using approximately 80% recycled glass, making it an environmentally responsible choice.

OG Insulation Insulation Returns Policy
You may return unused insulation to OG Insulation, provided the following conditions are met:
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- Products must be in original packaging and in resalable condition. We do not accept returns on wet or damaged items.
- A restocking fee of 15% applies to glasswool, polyester, and rockwool insulation.
- Foam and rigid insulation products will incur a 30% restocking fee.
Important note:
- Custom-made items are not eligible for return or refund.
- Some suppliers restrict returns in specific states—check the product page for details.
