Keep Your Insulation High and Dry for Optimal Performance
Thermal insulation must be kept dry at all times. Ideally, it should be stored indoors and protected from any exposure to the elements. If temporary outdoor storage is necessary, ensure the insulation is elevated off the ground—such as on a pallet—and fully covered with a waterproof plastic sheet. If insulation becomes thoroughly saturated, it is essentially unusable and must not be installed, as it can lead to issues like rot and moisture damage in the roof cavity. Wet insulation also loses its effectiveness, as the tiny air pockets within the glasswool—crucial for thermal performance—become filled with water instead of air. If only the outer layer gets slightly damp, place it in a dry, sunny spot immediately to allow it to dry out completely.

OG Insulation Insulation Returns Policy
You may return unused insulation to OG Insulation, provided the following conditions are met:
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- Products must be in original packaging and in resalable condition. We do not accept returns on wet or damaged items.
- A restocking fee of 15% applies to glasswool, polyester, and rockwool insulation.
- Foam and rigid insulation products will incur a 30% restocking fee.
Important note:
- Custom-made items are not eligible for return or refund.
- Some suppliers restrict returns in specific states—check the product page for details.
