Polymax vs Glasswool Insulation
Polymax is crafted entirely from 100% polyester, setting it apart from other Bradford products like Gold Batts, Optimo Underfloor, and Soundscreen, which are made from fibreglass. One major difference between polyester and glasswool insulation is that polyester contains no breathable fibres, making it soft to the touch and easier to handle. While glasswool is typically cut with a knife, polyester insulation can usually be torn to the required size. Due to its hypoallergenic properties, polyester is often the preferred choice for those with allergies—though it does come at a higher cost.
